West Virginia Head Ball Coach BILL STEWART despite loss to East Carolina signs multi-year contract. The six year deal will pay STEWART $800,000 this year and includes annual increases of $50,000. STEWART was named the Mountaineers head ball coach on January 3, 2008, after leading West Virginia to a 48-28 upset victory over No. 3 Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. Stewart replaced RICH RODRIGUEZ, who left to become the new head coach at Michigan after their attempts to woo LESS MILES were unsuccessful.

I don't understand this...what has he done at West Virginia besides loose to ECU? Honestly now, does anyone really believe he had a huge part in that win over Oklahoma? No, he didn't. If my memory serves me right, he was the tight end coach for WV, that basically means he takes them to receivers meetings and to the line meetings, that seems like a lot. Not.
